Elephants, often referred to as 'Gentle Giants', are peaceful creatures whose presence and grace is felt instantly. Their demeanor is calm yet they are not timid. In many instances, they can recognize the distress of others in the herd, often lending a helping trunk as a symbol of support. Frequently we find elephants hugging one another to provide comfort. They can teach us so much about how to feel comfortable in one's own skin, how to love, and how to co-exist as part of a greater group.
